Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of lexium.sa and the LEXIUM client portal (the "Site", the "Service"). By using the Site, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to any of them, please do not use the Site.
Note: The Arabic version of these terms is the authoritative version. In case of any conflict between the two versions, the Arabic text shall prevail.

1. Definitions
- "LEXIUM" or the "Firm": LEXIUM Lawyers & Consultants, licensed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- "Site": the domain lexium.sa and all its subdomains and pages.
- "Portal": the digital client portal at lexium.sa/portal.
- "User": any person who visits the Site or uses the Portal.
- "Client": the person or entity who has signed a legal services contract with LEXIUM.
- "Content": all texts, images, marks, and information on the Site.
2. Nature of the Service
The Site provides general information about LEXIUM's legal services and means of contact. Information published on the Site is not legal advice and does not create a lawyer–client relationship in any form. Such a relationship arises only after:
- Signing a formal legal services contract between the Client and LEXIUM.
- Payment of any agreed retainer.
- LEXIUM's written confirmation of accepting the engagement.
Important notice: Reliance on general information on the Site without tailored legal advice may harm your legal interest. Do not make any legal decision based on the Site's content alone.
3. Client Portal Account
A) Account Creation
- You must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
- You must provide accurate and up-to-date information at registration.
- The account is personal and may not be transferred or shared.
B) Account Security
- You are responsible for maintaining password confidentiality and all activities on your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use (support@lexium.sa).
- We reserve the right to suspend any account suspected of compromise to protect you.
4. User Obligations
When using the Site or Portal, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information in forms and correspondence.
- Not impersonate others or provide misleading information.
- Respect Firm staff in all communications.
- Not upload forged or unlawful documents through the Portal.
- Comply with Saudi laws in all interactions with the Site.
5. Prohibited Uses
The following are expressly prohibited:
- Attempting to breach the Site or bypass security measures.
- Using automated programs (bots) or scraping in any form.
- Submitting malicious software or viruses through forms or document uploads.
- Republishing or distributing Site content for commercial purposes without written permission.
- Using the Site for any illegal purpose or one contrary to Saudi public policy.
- Abusing the communication system or sending harassing or fraudulent content.
Any violation may expose you to civil and criminal liability under the Saudi Anti-Cyber Crime Law.
6. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Site — including without limitation: the "LEXIUM" trademark, logo, design, texts, marks, and software — are the exclusive property of LEXIUM and protected under applicable Saudi laws.
Reproducing, copying, or modifying any part of the Site without LEXIUM's prior written permission is prohibited.
7. Professional Confidentiality
All information exchanged between the Client and LEXIUM through the Portal or otherwise is subject to professional confidentiality under the Saudi Law of Practice of Law and its Executive Regulations. LEXIUM may not disclose any information related to a Client's case except:
- With the Client's written consent.
- By order of a competent court.
- Where there is a clear statutory duty to disclose.
The contractual relationship may end, but LEXIUM's duty to maintain confidentiality of information obtained continues to apply.
8. Fees and Payment
Legal service fees are set out in a separate contract signed between the parties. No service is rendered without written agreement on fees. LEXIUM reserves the right to suspend work on any case if the Client delays in paying due fees, after a written notice of at least seven (7) days.
9. Limitations of Liability
The Site is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties. LEXIUM is not liable for:
- Any decision the user takes — by action or omission — based solely on general Site content without tailored legal advice.
- Any technical failure or service interruption beyond our control.
- Any indirect or consequential damages.
- The content of external sites linked from our Site.
LEXIUM's liability toward its contracted Clients is limited to what is stipulated in the legal services contract and the Saudi Law of Practice of Law.
10. Termination
LEXIUM reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Site or Portal without prior notice if:
- You violate these terms.
- You provide false information.
- Your use poses a risk to security or to the Firm's reputation.
You may close your account at any time by emailing support@lexium.sa.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Saudi courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms. Competent courts shall sit in the city of Riyadh.
Before resorting to litigation, the parties shall make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute amicably within thirty (30) days from written notice of the dispute.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to registered Clients by email at least seven (7) days before they take effect. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the changes.
